Benefits of Massage Therapy if you are Seeking Pain Relief
Pain affects us physically, emotionally, and interferes with our well being. Our specialty is helping people who suffer from pain that is common with chronic conditions such as multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and parkinson’s disease...
Research shows that massage therapy can be effective for pain relief, especially when it is part of an overall pain management program.
1 Clinical studies demonstrate that massage therapy helps people suffering from chronic low back pain, tension headaches, and can help reduce pain and muscle spasms.2-4 Massage therapy works from the outside in. This means we consider the external mechanisms of pain, the root cause, and how soft tissue is affected by the entire body system.
Sometimes pain comes from something good—like pregnancy! For mothers to be, we offer prenatal massage therapy to help relieve discomfort caused by pregnancy, such as muscular tension, headaches, and pain caused by extra pressure on the knees.
